The International Conference on Resilient Infrastructure: Smart and Sustainable Practices (CRISP 2027) is a premier international forum organized by the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, C. V. The Department has a strong blend of experienced academicians, industry professionals, and young promising talents, forming a formidable teaching team dedicated to inspiring and guiding students across almost all specializations in Civil Engineering. The Department continuously strives for value addition to the programme through initiatives such as establishing Centres of Excellence in Plumbing and imparting training in software and tools like Revit, AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, GIS & RS, MX Road, Primavera, etc., along with their extensive applications in student projects and research activities. The Department is equipped with well-established laboratories managed by trained technical personnel. It has also initiated strong industry exposure programmes by encouraging final-year students to undertake internships in various industries in lieu of the whole or part of a semester. This initiative helps create a mutually beneficial interface between students and industry.
